Once you figure out who you are and what you love about yourself, I think it all kinda falls into place...
And then you stop expecting for the unexpected!

I always think, There must be thousands of girls sitting alone like me, dreaming of becoming famous and successful. But I'm not going to worry about them.
Im dreaming the hardest!

Well Etched!!! Inspiring indeed…

Characters play an integral part in any film. The thought behind building/developing these characters is very significant. The success lies in the way a character is created and the way an actor gives full justice to it!

Vivian Leigh as Scarlett o’ Hara

Selfish, shrewd and vain, Scarlett O’ Hara from gone with the wind, is one of the strongest women protagonists we’ve seen on big screen. Her vivacious, raw personality emits a sense of style and attitude to her rustic character.

She is what every woman wants to be. A confident, smart, beautiful and willful young lady. She believes in love and is not afraid to dream! In the film, Scarlett’s character beautifully matures. Scarlett is not at all stereotypically feminine like most women. Her character colourfully stands out against Melanie Wilkes, who is more submissive in the film. She is independent, extremely passionate, vulnerable at times (her love for Rhett) and takes pride in her being.

Scarlett is a carefree woman and inspires you the minute you understand her!

Julia Roberts as Katherine Ann Watson

She was here to make a difference.

In Monalisa Smile, Katherine Ann Watson, a feminist teacher, encourages her students to study to become career professionals. She is an elegant, intelligent woman of 1950’s and is shunned by society because of her progressive ways to educate women. She influences her students by teaching them the meaning behind modern art and feels that women can do more than solely adopt the roles of wives and mothers. Based in the early 50’s, this story brings out a change in Katherine’s personal life and makes her believe that changing the system is a tough job! Julia Robert has brought out a brilliant mixture of aggravation and grace to the role. Katharine’s frustration and turmoil to make that change shows in her expression of emotions.

Quote: - Katherine Watson: I thought that I was headed to a place that would turn out tomorrow's leaders, not their wives.

Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly

The finest actress in Hollywood- Meryl Streep. Any role is a cinch for her.

Miranda Priestly, in the devil wears Prada, is a spiteful, middle aged, successful businesswoman. In her younger days she has struggled hard to earn the position she is in today. So anybody working for her has to be the Best! There are no excuses to hard work in her dictionary of thoughts. She runs an entire empire of a fashion magazine and is responsible towards it. Miranda’s mannerisms are calculated and well groomed to adapt to the corporate world. Her inner, softer self is exposed to the audience in the end of the story when she meets Andrea, her ex-assistant, and gives her a warm smile! Miranda is a strong career woman who has climbed the success ladder leaving behind her messed up personal life. You will fall in love with her inspite of her nasty ways of dealing with her employees!

Meryl Streep makes you believe that there is a Bitch in hidden in all of us!

Quote:- The details of your incompetence do not interest me.

I said to myself, go ahead. Take a chance. Hire the smart, fat girl. I had hope.

THIS IS YOUR JOB! Get-me-HOME!
